Finally, I have some decent art finished! ;W; This is actually the first picture that I actually like how it came out in….. Forever.

Lately I’ve been working on how I draw eyes and teeth and shade and make backgrounds. Also, yay, tentative new signature thing! I’m still trying to find an effective lineart method, but eh, I think I’ll hate doing the lineart no matter what.

I know I draw to much of this character, and you’re all probably sick of her, but I’m finally starting to get places with “Plague” (asdfghjkl I really want to rename it but I’m totally at a loss…) and I have to have to have to get her kinks worked out since she’s kind of the main protagonist. A lot of characters are going through complete redesigns, but I’m finally getting around to organizing my thoughts.

The shading looks amazing. And I don’t think the lineart is too bad. Sure its a lil bumpy, but that happens a lot. The background looks a little TOO blurry, especially the rock that’s closer to her. It’s a little painful to the eyes. Otherwise, it does look like a mountain top. As for the body itself, the eye looks a bit too big. There’s too much white and not enough iris/pupil. Are the ears wolf ears or are they supposed to be dragon ears? If wolf ears, they need to be a little more pointed and not as long. They look more like donkey ears. For the muzzle and nose, you might want to shorten it. Its too long, as you can see from the position of the mouth. I think the bottom half of the cheek fluff is too far back, so maybe curve it forward a bit, but that’s up to you. I also recommend finding someone who redlines, so you have a visual look at what needs fixed :)

Everything else is really nice. I like how you did the hair and you made her look fluffy. I have the hardest time with that, as well as making the neck long enough to look like a neck XD She’s a pretty character. You draw really nice overall :)

I’ll definitely look into finding a red-liner. It’d probably be a good thing for me, since i’m a visual learner or whatever it’s called. C:> And now that you mention it, her extra fur-fluff does look placed awkwardly. And the over-sized eye is a bad habit left over from my animu-drawing phase. ;A; Unfortunately when I was young and doughy I picked up a lot of bad habits from the anime style. Thank you for pointing it out! I’ll definitely be sure to stay aware of the eye size next time, rather than only the style.

Hehe, I just wanted to clarify a bit that the grey blob in the bottom left of the image was supposed to be a pathway in the background, but it was haphazardly thrown in at the very last second- an impulse thing if you will- so I understand why it looks like a rock. XD Her ears are also supposed to be donkey-ish or goat-ish though…. I like goats. She was originally supposed to be goat-inspired, but she ended up looking more wolfish than anything.
